Note that you will need your official South African ID or foreign passport in order to complete the registration process.
You should register to write the Friends of Design Academy test(s) at your own choice of venue and date, at least one month prior to the date on which the Friends of Design Academy test(s) is/are to be written. Please note that seats are limited at the Friends of Design Academy venues. If you do not register and pay for the Friends of Design Academy test(s) in advance, you will not be able to write.
If you do not have access to the Internet or encounter problems during the registration process, you may either call or send an email to the Friends of Design Academy via the Friends of Design Academy website for assistance.
Payments
All Friends of Design Academy Registration Fees must be paid through the website. Take your Friends of Design Academy registration letter with you to an Easy Paypoint near you to pay. You may also pay on the Friends of Design Academy website: and then print out your receipt.
The Friends of Design Academy Registered applicants who do not report for the Friends of Design Academy scheduled tests, must again register and pay in order to reschedule a missed test. Please note that you may not write only the MATHEMATICS test.

Friends of Design Academy Registration procedure
Registration to write the Friends of Design Academy is done through the Internet and takes about five minutes to complete. Open your browser to the Friends of Design Academy Website:⇒https://friendsofdesign.net or (Friends of Design Academy Student Portal) (After reading the Friends of Design Academy general information and the Friends of Design Academy FAQs, select the “Register to write” tab and follow all instructions. Note that you will need your official South African ID or foreign passport in order to complete the registration process.
