New! Dokter Ali Teasers – November 2021
Stiletto Vendetta taps its finale heels in mid-October and Dokter Ali premieres immediately after, on Friday 15 October.
It follows the life of autistic savant doctor Ali Vefa, who was orphaned as a young boy after being rejected by his father.
He grew up in an orphanage and then studied medicine, graduating with top honours.
The action begins as he starts his first job as an assistant surgeon at a private hospital.
If his character sounds familiar, it’s because he is.
The series is based on a 2013 Korean series titled Good Doctor – the same series that sparked The Good Doctor starring Freddy Highmore.
Turkish actor Taner Ölmez plays Ali.

Episode 1
A young autistic doctor saves a boy’s life at the airport. We also meet the characters who will form part of this young man’s journey as a new assistant surgeon.

Episode 2
It seems like Ali’s dream of becoming a doctor is slipping further and further away. Nazli gets too involved with a patient, can’t control her emotions and Dr Ferman needs to step in.

Dr Ali is welcomed into the hospital as one of the new assistant surgeons, but it’s not smooth sailing and Dr Ferman’s frustration keeps mounting.

Ali gets into trouble when he takes over another doctor’s patient and ends up almost operating on the child. Dr Ferman steps in, and it seems like Ali’s days as an assistant surgeon are over.

Ali drives everyone mad with unnecessary tests on patients, but will his persistence pay off? Nazli seems to develop a soft spot for Ali, while doctor Ferman’s heart seems to grow colder.

Ali finally gets his own home and an added bonus is that Nazli is his neighbour. Dr Ferman first asks and then forbids Nazli to help Ali, as he must learn to stand on his own feet.

Ali tries to help a patient who refuses to have a procedure done. Ferman has to face the fact that even he fails at times.

Kivilcim tries to get into Ali’s head by telling him no one wants him in the hospital. Adil almost makes a breakthrough with Ferman, but Ali interrupts. The team is finally able to operate on Burcu’s baby.

Ali gets upset when he overhears a private conversation. Ferman admits that anything really is possible. Beliz is hopeful about a new investor, while Ali and Nazli have a seemingly impossible task at hand.
