The Building Company Jobs Vacancy

The main purpose of the job is to support the work of department managers and executives on projects directed at maximising company profits, growing brand equity and developing sales strategies or marketing campaigns.

Brand and Brand Support

  • Assisting the Marketing Operations manager with various marketing activities.
  • Assisting with the production of marketing materials and literature.
  • Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications
  • Providing support for marketing events and exhibitions as required
  • Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.
  • Writing articles and promotional material for the company.
  • Preparing interesting written copy for the brand websites.
  • Uploading and maintaining correct filing of marketing material to online libraries.
  • Updating and maintaining the marketing department’s documentation and databases.
  • Managing events, booking venues and ordering marketing materials.
  • Manage all store opening, event and branding coordination
  • Manage all store specific advertising requests
  • Manage instore TV screen content
  • Manage the call on hold telephone system
  • Implementation of key touch points for national, regional and store specific request

Production coordination

  • Scheduling and tracking the progress of marketing related projects including, but not limited to broadsheet and promotional activities, video production, audio recording & editing, graphic design, printing and website/digital content development

Administration

  • Ensuring professional stakeholder interactions
  • Billing reconciliation
  • Delivery coordination
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers. Ensuring that quotations from suppliers are competitive and the best value for money. Ensure best value for money is achieved

Competition Coordination

  • Overall coordination of the competitions process
  • Ensuring that all competitions are registered in the competition register
  • Ensuring the approval of competition artwork from a legal perspective and getting the approval of the Advertising department.
  • Ensuring the approval and/ or compiling of the terms and conditions
  • Ensure that the competition and terms and conditions are published on the appropriate digital platforms before the competition starts.
  • Overall responsibility for administration and filing of documentation and other legal requirements on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure that line manager signs off all terms and conditions for competitions and artwork for all competitions.

Quality control

  • Perform a ‘quality check’ on marketing materials before they go to print or are uploaded to digital platforms.
  • Check that:
  • The text matches the original
  • Spelling and style are correct and consistent
  • Product descriptions, headings, captions etc. are correct
