Note that you will need your official South African ID or foreign passport in order to complete the registration process.
You should register to write the University of Free State test(s) at your own choice of venue and date, at least one month prior to the date on which the University of Free State test(s) is/are to be written. Please note that seats are limited at the University of Free State venues. If you do not register and pay for the University of Free State test(s) in advance, you will not be able to write.
If you do not have access to the Internet or encounter problems during the registration process, you may either call or send an email to the University of Free State via the University of Free State website for assistance.
Payments
All University of Free State Registration Fees must be paid through the website. Take your University of Free State registration letter with you to an Easy Paypoint near you to pay. You may also pay on the University of Free State website: and then print out your receipt.
The University of Free State Registered applicants who do not report for the University of Free State scheduled tests, must again register and pay in order to reschedule a missed test. Please note that you may not write only the MATHEMATICS test.

Registration to write the University of Free State is done through the Internet and takes about five minutes to complete. Note that you will need your official South African ID or foreign passport in order to complete the registration process.
