Job Title: Candidate Valuer
Location: Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa

Contract Type: Permanent

Specification
The successful incumbent will assist the valuations team in performing valuations on properties in the Commercial, Industrial and Retail portfolios.

Duties and Responsibilities
•To collect data for internal and external valuers.
•To perform valuation and assist Asset Managers with adhoc valuations.
•To monitor valuation progress and provide support to external valuers.
•To liase and obtain sector approval.
•To populate and finalized property financial schedule.
•To assist with adhoc queries from auditors and other stakeholders.

Experience and Qualifications
•Degree/Diploma in Real Estate/Property Valuation.
•Be registered with the SA Council for the Property Valuers Profession as a Candidate Valuer.
•At least 3 years of work experience in property valuation with a strong knowledge and understanding of:

  • Properties and property management;
  • Property valuation theory;
  • Theory of discounted cash flow analysis
