Job Title: Technical Support & Installations Consultant (Gauteng)
Location: Midrand

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential job function and performance standards:

Experience with Equipment – Routers and Switches – Mikrotik, Cisco, Juniper, Yealink

Effective and continuous communication with both the internal and external customer staying abreast of any queries, complaints that might require specific troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades and/or installations.
Detailed and thorough site surveys with applicable clients with relevant feedback and reporting to the Team and relevant stakeholders.
Timeous and efficient deployment of all updates, add-ons and products upgrades.
Professional site configurations and relevant alterations to customer requirements and aligned to project specifications.
Develop a high level of business and personal rapport with each customer to ensure business loyalty and sustainable long-term relationships through constantly striving to meet and exceed customer expectations in line with the Catalytic promise of service excellence.
Effective time management, prioritizing daily and weekly tasks.
Planning of new deployments along with site diagrams and IT checklists
Timeously and effectively resolve customer queries with effective communication via the team channel.
Monitoring and updating of relevant information on the system
To remain up to date with latest industry trends, changes and market information.
Standby duties to be executed responsibility and effectively whilst complying to the assigned roster and timelines.
Service Desk Support to be professionally conducted with accountability, professionalism and continuous communication to relevant parties, be it the internal- or external customer

Work Environment:
Both office bound and client facing. Supportive to both internal and external customers.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Requirements, Skills and Experience:

Minimum Matric / Grade 12
Relevant tertiary degree or diploma advantageous
N+ Certification advantageous
CCNA Certification advantageous
Licenses / Certifications:

Valid drivers’ license – light motor vehicle
Access to the Company Branded Fleet Vehicle
Confident and experienced within the MS Office suite
Excellent technical – practical skills

Career experience:
A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant Telecommunication industry experience in a similar working environment and role
Confident on the MS Office program.
Experience in Routers and Switches (mainly Mikrotik, Cisco and Juniper), VoIP, Connectivity, Phone hardware (Yealink).
Knowledge of Secure back-up and servers would be advantageous.
An excellent command of the English language.
Proven track record of installations and customer relations management successes in both new business and existing customers.
