Note that you will need your official South African ID or foreign passport in order to complete the registration process.

You should register to write the University of the Witwatersrand test(s) at your own choice of venue and date, at least one month prior to the date on which the University of the Witwatersrand test(s) is/are to be written. Please note that seats are limited at the University of the Witwatersrand venues. If you do not register and pay for the University of the Witwatersrand test(s) in advance, you will not be able to write.

If you do not have access to the Internet or encounter problems during the registration process, you may either call or send an email to the University of the Witwatersrand via the University of the Witwatersrand website for assistance.

Payments

All University of the Witwatersrand Registration Fees must be paid through the website. Take your University of the Witwatersrand registration letter with you to an Easy Paypoint near you to pay. You may also pay on the University of the Witwatersrand website: and then print out your receipt.
        
The University of the Witwatersrand Registered applicants who do not report for the University of the Witwatersrand scheduled tests, must again register and pay in order to reschedule a missed test. Please note that you may not write only the MATHEMATICS test.

Registration to write the University of the Witwatersrand is done through the Internet and takes about five minutes to complete. Open your browser to the University of the Witwatersrand Website:⇒https://www.wits.ac.za or (University of the Witwatersrand Student Portal) (After reading the University of the Witwatersrand general information and the University of the Witwatersrand FAQs, select the “Register to write” tab and follow all instructions. Note that you will need your official South African ID or foreign passport in order to complete the registration process.
