DETAILS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Start date: 1 April 2021
Highbury Media are inviting candidates to apply for the position of Style Intern, within the fashion department. Students with an interest in fashion and magazines should apply. The programme will commence on 1 April 2021.
Interns will be exposed to the following job roles:
- assisting the beauty editor and head stylist
- assisting with shoot relating to: beauty, fashion, decor, and food
- finding and returning shoot product (fashion and decor)
- writing copy for fashion and decor articles
- creating upfront pages for various magazines
- creating content for Digital platforms
- producing a shoot from concept to executio
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must have prior experience with shoots (advantageous but not essential)
- Must have a valid drivers’ license
- Must have your own transport
- Must be interested in fashion and magazines
- Must be organised
- Must be able to multitask on various duties
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work within a team
