Job Title: IT Business Digital Transformation Manager
Location: Gauteng

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
As the Business Digital Transformation Manager your responsibilities include identifying opportunities to improve the way the company operates, and then implementing those changes in a way that creates value for our customers, our employees, and stakeholders (internal & external).
You could work on any number of projects at once, from redesigning to creating new mobile applications or software programs. This role is to ensure that projects are completed successfully while also ensuring that they align with the overall goals of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct activities related to applications support in a cost-effective manner.
Evaluate the cost impact of requests before executing same and manage execution within agreed budget.
Support the design and implementation of the business strategy. Implement short- and long-term strategic plans to meet existing and future requirements. Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for resource administration and appropriate use.
Collaborate with multifunctional team to ensure project goals are achieved.
Provide IT solutions and tools, in line with Diplomat Group, to the business to facilitate smooth execution of internal processes.
Address and escalate day to day user issues with respect to digital applications (within implementation).
Liaise with group IT regarding procedural and system changes to ensure global alignment and best practice.
Identifying opportunities to improve operations through technology advancements and recommending solutions.
Working with business leaders to identify opportunities for technology implementation in their departments.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Recognized Degree in Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Proven track record in a senior management digital transformation position (in FMCG will be an added advantage).
5+ years’ digitalization experience, 3+ years Project Management experience and proven track record on delivering projects.
Experience of having implemented, and evaluated organizational transformation digital solutions and has delivered medium to large scale change that added value to the organization.
Highly effective change agent who engages with senior stakeholders to deliver the digital program to the organization.
